What Makes This Spot Special:
Capizzo's is a comfortable, cozy location in Ontario, NY. You'll
find a warm fireplace inside, candles on the tables, and friendly
service - all adding up to an easy going, family atmosphere that
beckons you to stop in often.
The Dish Not To Miss:
Just this once, perhaps this section should be titled
"The Day Not To Miss" because Fridays are very
special at Capizzo's. That's when they pull out all the stops
and provide dinners with everything from appetizers like Clams
Casino and Shrimp Cocktail, to full Dinners complete with potato,
vegetable and salad.
This is a great place to satisfy your Friday fish cravings.
The Haddock here can be ordered beer battered or broiled; and Shrimp
can be prepared as Scampi, broiled, deep fried, or sauteed in wine
and lemon. There is also a Seafood Platter - broiled or fried
- with Fish, Shrimp and Clams Casino. Also special on Friday is the
Prime Rib Dinner (12, 14 or 20 oz. cuts), along with Delmonico
steaks (plain or Cajun) and a 14oz. Strip. Chicken and Veal
are each prepared three ways...as French (in wine and lemon);
Marsala (sauteed with Marsala wine); or Parmesan (with meat sauce
over spaghetti). There's also a selection of Pasta and Stuffed
Shells. And, don't be afraid to bring the kids. The
Children's Menu is reasonably priced and guaranteed to please your
youngster.
During the rest of the week, a full bar Menu is offered.
The usual finger foods like Mozarella Sticks, Jalapeno Poppers,
Chicken Fingers, Fried Mushrooms and Pizza Logs are available along
with Wings by the Pound - prepared sweet and tangy, in barbeque
sauce, honey Cajun, garlic, or Buffalo style. The Bar Menu
doesn't stop there, however. You'll find Burgers and Chicken
prepared with your choice of toppings, a Prime Rib Sandwich...even
an old fashiond Grilled Cheese and a $1.75 Hot Dog are
available! Feeling hungry? Check out the Plate Specials
complete with fries, and mac salad or beans.

At Capizzo's, the focus is on both quantity and quality.
Meals are prepared by Bob Reynolds and Head Chef Dale Adams who
brings more than forty years of experience to your table. Ask
them about Take Out, too!

Chef's: Robert Reynolds and Dale Adams
Capizzo's Restaurant serves authentic Italian-American cuisine in
a rustic, comfortable and friendly atmosphere. Chef Robert
Reynolds has catered for 15 years, taking pride in every dish he
serves. Chef Dale Adams has been a professional chef for over
30 years, 22 years as Head Chef at Xerox and many years as a food
service mess Sergeant. He has served some of the top names in
Monroe County while a chef at Xerox.
Besides their genuine Italian offerings, the chefs also feature
delectable specialties like the Fish Fry, Prime Rib and Scampi.
